The Drunken Boat by Arthur Rimbaud

Here is my adaptation of an English translation of Rimbaud’s “Le bateau ivre” (1871).   This work was commissioned for the “The Graphic Canon”, the upcoming anthology of visual adaptations of classic works of literature edited by Russ Kick and published by Seven Stories Press: http://www.sevenstories.com/book/?GCOI=58322100888750

    Wow tes dessins sont magnifiques Cela me donne le gout de relire le Bateau ivre en français. J’adore la bouteille d’absinthe qui alimente la rivière.

      Merci beaucoup Ginette! La en faite je suis entrain de préparer la version française (bon OK, la version originale). Il faudra juste que j’enlève les vetements des deux haleurs, car Rimbaud spécifie qu’ils sont cloués NUS aux poteaux de couleur.
