“The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” by T.S. Eliot
Kickstart it, I say! I’m sure you will exceed the funds you’d need! There are so many of us waiting for the entire Prufrock in Print! But I must add that your other works are brilliant too and they too deserve to be in print. I really liked your rendition of Rimbaud’s The Drunken Boat. I read it alongside a translation, which was a bit tedious – the eye having to move a lot more – but it was worth it. I wonder if you could make an English version too for the non-French readers out there like me, I donno,… superimpose English on the parts where the poem is written…? just a suggestion…
Thanks for sharing your work with the rest of the world. Looking forward to everything you do.

Just wanted to thank you for beginning Prufrock…I teach Intro to Literature, and I’d assigned the poem, we read it out loud in class, heard T.S. Eliot reading it, and discussed it at length…lots of frustration and questions…Then…I brought up your site and let them look at the panels while I read it…the ooohhs and ahhs began…they loved it !!! One girl, who struggles a bit with the English language said “I understand all the words because of the pictures…you should show all poems like this” I really liked your work, but had no idea it would have this big of an impact on students… Bravo…can’t wait to see the poem finished… Arlene Greene English Dept. Thanks Arlene! That’s really good to know. Perhaps I should emphasize the “educational tool” aspect of my comics when proposing them to publishers.

I came to your “Prufrock” through a link at ComicstripoftheDay.com a month ago. I think what you’ve done with it so far is brilliant and you deserve recognition for it. I totally want to buy a copy when you’re finished.
