    Absolutely haunting and beautiful poems.
Nelligan definitely deserves to be more well-known outside of Canada.
I’m sure your inspired drawings will contribute to revitalizing him beyond your borders.

Mais ce site est superbe! Merci Julian. Roger

If I were looking to publish a comics biography of Nelligan, I’d choose you as the artist. I can already see a graphic novel, retelling his life, interrupted by comics form of his poems (or having the poems comics come in at times to enhance a certain passages) and ending with the last 2 drawings posted up there.

    • Thanks again. If I were more confident writing a script in French I might attempt that. One of the problems though is that we really don’t know all that much about Nelligan’s life, at least not much that would make a really meaty story. I guess one would have to use a lot of creative license, and the danger of course would be to fall into ‘mad artist’ cliches.
